1915 – Earthquake in Avezzano, Italy kills 29,800
1984 – TV anchor Christine Craft wins $325,000 in her case against KMBC-TV
2014 – 14 people are killed and 7 are injured after an explosion in an illegal gambling hall in Kaili City, China
