The 2023 Texas Rangers season was the 63rd of the Texas Rangers franchise overall, their 52nd in Arlington as the Rangers, and the fourth season at Globe Life Field. It was also the team's first season under the management of Bruce Bochy.

The Rangers had six players (five starters) named to the All-Star game, a franchise record.[1] On September 30, they clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2016 with a win against the Seattle Mariners.

Despite leading the American League West for most of the season and finishing with the same record as the rival and defending champion Houston Astros, they finished second due to the Astros owning the tiebreaker as a result of taking the season series. The Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALWCS in a two-game sweep and the Baltimore Orioles in a three-game sweep in the ALDS to advance to the ALCS for the first time since 2011, in which they beat their division and Lone Star Series rival, and defending World Series champions Astros in seven games to claim their first pennant since 2011. They defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth game of the World Series to claim their first title in franchise history. The Rangers went 13–4 in the postseason, going 2–4 at home and 11–0 on the road, the most road wins in a postseason in MLB history.[2]
