Dubovsky District (Russian: Ду́бовский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,993.2 square kilometers (1,541.8 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Dubovskoye.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 22,983, with the population of Dubovskoye accounting for 37.2% of that number.[3]
