Major-General James Michael Cowan CBE, DSO (born 1 April 1964) is a former British Army officer. He is now CEO of The HALO Trust,[1] a humanitarian organisation which works in post-conflict zones, and a trustee of Waterloo Uncovered, a charity conducting archaeology at the site of the Battle of Waterloo with veterans and serving personnel.[2][3]
