The Jayakarta Military Regional Command (Indonesian: Komando Daerah Militer Jayakarta); abbreviated Kodam Jaya is the military district of the Indonesian Army which covers the Greater Jakarta area. It's role is to protect and defend the capital city area with other additional tasks, such as to support the local law enforcement and civil authorities (by request).
