Thor is a character in Marvel Comics. The character was first seen in the comic Journey into Mystery #83 (date August 1962). His full name is Thor Odinson. Thor is the son of the Norse god Odin and goddess Frigga, he is the god of thunder. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers. His main enemy is Loki, god of trickery and mischief. Loki is also Thor's younger adopted brother.
