Genital modifications are forms of body modifications applied to the human sexual organs, such as piercings, circumcision, or labiaplasty.

The term genital mutilation is generally used when the modification is destructive to bodily functioning and performed for non-medical reasons. Opinions differ as to where the boundaries between modification and mutilation lie, depending on the cultural and political viewpoints of the observer.
