The tenge (/ˈtɛŋɡ/[2] or /tɛŋˈɡ/;[3] Kazakh: теңге, romanized: teñge, Kazakh pronunciation: [ˌtʲeŋˈɡʲe]; Russian: тенге, romanizedtenge; sign:  ; code: KZT) is the currency of Kazakhstan. It is divided into 100 tiyn (Kazakh: тиын, romanized: tıyın, also transliterated as tiyin).
