When used with the "Redirect category shell" (Rcat shell) template:

If used to tag redirects in any namespace other than category space, then Category:Pages with templates in the wrong namespace will be populated, so be sure to use this rcat only on category pages. When appropriate, protection levels are automatically sensed, described and categorized.
