This page is for proposing the creation of new WikiProjects. Before you make a proposal, please read the WikiProject Council guide. Sadly, most new WikiProjects go inactive soon after they start. If you're interested in finding editors with common interests, a more sustainable solution may be to participate in one of the two thousand existing projects and/or try to re-activate one of the many dormant WikiProjects.

If no existing WikiProject covers your interests, then you may propose a new project here. Proposals are intended to advertise your proposed project to people who might like to participate, and to get suggestions from knowledgeable editors about improving your proposal. The key to a successful WikiProject is to start with numerous interested editors committed to collaborating on a topic.
