Buraydah (Arabic: بريدة) is the capital and largest city of Qassim Province in north-central Saudi Arabia. Positioned between the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf, it is known as the “Garden City” for its palm groves, natural springs, and the world’s largest dates festival, earning it the title “City of Dates[3].”
Recognized by UNESCO as a Creative [4]City in 2021, Buraydah lies on the edge of Wadi Al-Rummah and has a desert climate with hot summers and mild winters. Agriculture remains central to its economy, with dates, figs, grapes, strawberries, lemons, and oranges thriving.
