Evan Campbell, known professionally as Kettama (stylized as KETTAMA), is an Irish producer and DJ. Campbell has gained prominence within the hard house music scene and is also recognized for co-owning the record label G-Town Records,[1] which he runs with his long time friend Cóilí Collins, better known as Shampain[2]. In an interview with Dazed, Kettama discussed the origin of the label's name, explaining that "G-Town" was an ironic nickname coined by him and Shampain for their hometown.[1]
Throughout his career, Campbell has collaborated with several notable figures in the electronic music industry, most notably working with the Welsh electronic duo Underworld[3]. In addition to his solo work, Campbell also works closely with Dublin-based techno artist Tommy Holohan as part of the duo Samba Boys.[4]
