Lido Beach (Somali: Xeebta Liido) is a beach in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, which overlooks the Somali Sea. It derives its name (Italian: Lido) from the Italian word for "beach". Commonly, the name Liido is colloquially used by locals.[1][2]
