Daniel Ronald Cox (born July 23, 1938) is an American actor and musician. Cox has appeared in numerous films and television series since his acting debut in Deliverance (1972), including The Car (1977), Beverly Hills Cop (1984), Beverly Hills Cop II, RoboCop (both 1987) and Total Recall (1990). Cox is also active as a musician, performing over 100 times per year at festivals and theaters each year as of 2012.
