The Statute Law Revision Act 1861 (24 & 25 Vict c 101) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was the first of the series of Statute Law Revision Acts.[1][2] It was intended, in particular, to facilitate the preparation of a revised edition of the statutes.[3] It repealed the whole or portions of 884 Acts,[4] passed between 11 Geo 3 (1771)[5] and 16 & 17 Vict (1853).[6]
