The Syrian Communist Party (Arabic: الحزب الشيوعي السوري, romanized: Al-Hizb Al-Shuyū'ī Al-Sūrī) is a banned communist party in Syria. It is Marxist–Leninist and anti-revisionist in its orientation.[3][4][5]
It emerged from a split from the original Syrian Communist Party and originated from the anti-revisionist and anti-Perestroika faction of the latter.
The Syrian Communist Party supported the Assad Goverment, resulting in the parties ban on 29 January, 2025 by the new Goverment[6]
