I am Anticrash. A digital artist working at the convergence of fantasy and cyberpunk aesthetics, blending visual storytelling with a 90s cyberculture ethos.

I am a senior UX designer by day, with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of graphic design and web development. By night, I am a writer of fantasy and science fiction, an illustrator and multimedia artist, and a self-styled Netrunner of the resistance. A resident of Seattle with a passion for pop and cyberpunk culture molded by comic books, video games, and movies of the 80's and 90's.

I started using the Anticrash handle to represent myself in the blossoming world of the 1990s-era internet. Since then, it has been my artistic persona, idealized self-image, and fabricated public face for a majority of my creative endeavors in the virtual space, including here on Wikipedia.

Thematically, this Anticrash persona is a nostalgic technomancer with a romanticized admiration of 90s cyberculture and the rebellious spirit of cyberpunk protagonists. It is an homage to that era, harnessing the mysticism and technical acuity of the digital age. It is that spirit I try to represent in my art, writing, and online interactions.

But what does "Anticrash" mean? Literally, it means a protection against failure. Philosophically, it is a balancing force of reality, both physical and surreal. And personally, it means digital rebellion, blending the innocence of 90s cyberculture and the hard-boiled grit of post-modern cyberpunk, embodying resilience in an era of technological exploration and dystopian collapse.
